This is a great price for a two-pack of M18 CP3.0 HO batteries. I've purchased this same item from Way Source before (when it was Safety Source) and they are legit.
Free shipping at $100
Also, if you bump it over $100, you can get $5 off with 5PROMOCODE (one use per email address)
I just went to
Home
Depot today and look for some batteries on clearance section.I bought a high output 6.0 and high output 3.0 for $99.00.(for both)
If you have a Home Depot near you, might worth a shot.
But they aren't high ouput

Funnily enough, when I found this deal I had gone to Way Source to search for a good price on 2.0Ah batteries. I wanted them specifically for M18 nailers, which are awesome but also freaking heavy. Anyway, I ended up getting the 3.0s since the 2.0s would have been the same price ($43 each).
Why don't they make a standard connector for power tool batteries so all power tools can use the same battery packs?
Because batteries are a huge moneymaker for power tool companies. Plus, customers get "locked" into a line this way - effectively reduces competition for additional tools once you've got batteries for one company's tools.

You can buy adapters for Milwaukee to DeWalt and vice versa.
Just be aware that there are a lot of reports of fake batteries sold on Amazon. You aren't buying from an authorized dealer.
Even if they are genuine, Milwaukee won't warranty them if you buy from Amazon
Also, as popular as Milwaukee is, their batteries can be a pain in the ass. Some won't charge unless you tilt it right on the charger. I have batteries that will charge on one charger and not another. Go figure.
Not so fast.....I started "collecting" M18 tools in 2010. One of the tools I got between them and today was a 1/2" drive impact because I do a lot of mechanic work....guess what...NONE of the batteries I currently had at that time fit. I'm guessing they don't want you using the super low mah small batteries on the high drain tools like an impact or grinder? My 4.0 and up mah batts are fine I'm all the tools though....it's just those pesky 1.5 and 2.0 batts that don't fit the impact. Really sucks because I immediately had to buy batteries right away to use the tool. so much for "One battery for all" that they have advertised for years
Is waysource a legit site? I asked my neighbor who's a handyman's and he told me that fake batteries are a thing and they could be fake.
I ordered 2 packs of 2 batteries (total 4 batteries), of these Milwaukee 3.0 batteries. They only sent 1 package of 2 batteries. I started a chat session with them, but they probably won't reply until tomorrow. I'm hoping that the other package of 2 batteries is on backorder, and they forgot to send me an email update of the order status. I'll let you all know how it turns out.

The remaining two batteries were delivered today. In my experience, yes, Way Source is a legit site.
My Milwaukee track saw chokes out on deep slab cuts. I use the standard 5ah battery. Will this battery provide more cutting power, even for a shorter time?

There are adapters but many people don't buy/use them. Also, It makes the tool extra clunky and lengthy.
