This is one of those tools that once you have it, you're so glad you own it. It's been one of my most used and favorite tools.

As always, SD rocks. Thanks, OP.
Missed the last time when it was $99 and SDers wisely advised to just hang in there because it rolls around occasionally. Bought from HD shipped free just in case I want to return it ,(not likely, but things can change).

Can anyone recommend some cheap/useful starter kit attachments for this?
You're mostly looking at different blades for different applications. Bi-Metal, HCS, drywall, grout, sanding pads, etc. All depends on what you may need it for.

I got a multi-blade pack at HD years ago that had a bunch in there for about $20. They've been great.

Yes. Here's the info

Internet # 325446058
Model # 2626-21
Store SKU # 1009698660
That is not the brushless one. The only brushless oscillating tool they make is the Fuel model. However, still not a bad price if you are in the Milwaukee battery platform and are looking for an oscillating tool.

I have had less than great luck with the cheapo blades from HF.

I did like the Diablo ones I picked up: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DIABL.../320578589

I have one Dewalt blade I used for a tile shower repair, it was quite expensive, and I have not used it again.

Great tool and great price. I picked up one a couple of years ago for the same price, and it has paid for itself many times. As everyone has previously said, don't cheapen out on blades.

Oh interesting. It says brushless under specifications.

Blains Farm and Fleet has the larger kit with the 2ah battery for $139. They also have the tool only available with the 5ah power stack battery for 169. Tomorrow, the deal switches to the 1.7ah battery and a charger
Thanks. This looks like a better deal with powerstack 5ah

That deal ended May 1st. It is only 1.7ah Powerstack with charger now. Considering the 5ah Powerstack battery is $80+, it was a decent deal (if you didn't need the charger, since the 5ah deal didn't include the charger)

What do you use it for? The reason I don't own one is because I can't figure out what I would use it for! Dying to get one tho haha

In my last project alone I used it 3 times. My wood deck expanded over the years and dug itself into the wooden exterior of my home because it was installed too close to the home. (1) I used it to trim down the expanded deck boards to prevent them from going into the wood siding again. (2) Used it to cut out a chunk of 2x8 attached to the home that rotted. (3) I used it to cut through a screw that snapped off while unscrewing one of the deck boards.

Once you have one, you start finding all kinds of uses.
