No. Samsung refrigerators are notorious for leaking water into the crisper drawer. This happens when the heat element in the main cavity (part of defrost cycle) freezes over and the ice blocks the drain hole. Then, the water has no place to go other than leak into the crisper drawer in the bottom.
Hard pass on any samsung appliance, it will be leaking in two years time.
Don't buy a Samsung refrigerator, you will regret it. Samsung appliances are notorious for failing. Do a quick Google/reddit search.

For those that don't know, don't buy a Samsung kitchen appliance. Case closed. They all suck. Maybe not today; maybe not tomorrow; but the shit will break.
Bought 4 Samsung fridges over the past 10 years. Always compressor issues... Never again even if it's a good deal, the compressor + labor costs will be more expensive in the long run.

Is it easy or cheap to replace a compressor? My neighbor bought one and it didn't last 3 months. Samsung just cut him a check ($1500) and told him to toss the fridge away.
That issue has been resolved from the manufacturer since 2020. No longer valid.
This is only one issue I mentioned. But Samsung refrigerators have OTHER issues as well, like ice maker freezing over, upper fan getting blocked by ice and making noise, etc. Then, we have OTHER Samsung appliances (cooking ranges, dishwashers, microwaves) that have many issues as well.
Yes, issues are fixed. But the company's reputation is damaged. And that's how it should be!

100% I'll never support Samsung again after scamming me for 5k+ for shitty appliances that no one will service. My crisper drawers stay with 1/2 an inch of water at all times. My veggies are in a constant state of bathing.
No problems with mine. I was hoping to reach the 10 years, but the annoying panel is burning the lights. It is not affecting the performance at all. Defrost is great. Ice maker is great. No leaks into the crisper.

Just search in YouTube for "Samsung refrigerator leak in crisper drawer" and see that people complain about this issue even after 6 or more years. Once the seal in the back panel is gone it will leak. It will also make a rattling noise because of ice build up close to the upper fan, the one that circulates air in the main cavity. After that you would have to defrost it manually like every 2 weeks or so... I fixed mine but it took many hours of research and actually doing it. Never buying Samsung again.

Like I said, every manufacturer has issues. I see and fix them everyday. id much rather have that first world problem than a sealed system fail in the first few months of use. I replied directly to your comment about the ice behind the evap cover, which is directly associated with the drain. Samsung is the only company that replaces the ice maker under warranty regardless of age. That's over 800 in parts and labor to do out of pocket. Find another company that will do anything even close to that. I'll wait.

My last one broke indeed in 2 years. Repair cost 1000 bucks. Lesson learned.
