I bought it on release back in Nov. 2023 and worked nicely until July 2024 when it had a screen blackout. Sound worked but no visuals. BTW - I also had the non OLED for 4 years with no issues. Warranty lasts for one year, so they said they would send out an authorized repair service.
Repair guy tried several things and could not get it to work, so he said he would have to order new parts or I could call Samsung, which I did. Samsung offered to replace it with a new one or a full refund (original out of pocket). I asked if they could upgrade me to this 57" mini-led version (more cost than I paid by several hundred $). After some back and forth, it seemed like an option. After it being out of stock locally, I tried again and it worked, they sent out the 57" Version.
Just sharing my experience with the customer service, the opportunity to upgrade if you have issues that can't be resolved, and the possibility of needing extra warranty.
We don't need the extra monitor!
Joke aside, this is the most amazing monitor i ever had a chance to use sadly built by a the most unreliable manufacturer for monitors!

Once I place the windows, I love the screen real estate and picture quality.
MacOS Sequioa will support snapping and that should make this monitor even better
I tried using picture by picture mode. But that lowers the refresh rate to 60hz. So it is a no-go. Plus, macos crashed whenever I disconnected while using PBP.

Edit: Looks like it needs accessibility permission. Even though it is an open-source project, I am always skeptical
