I also did tweak a color setting in Chrome, because it showed a purple color instead of blue. This is not particular to this display. Go to chrome://flags and set Force Color Profile to sRGB.

I got it for $256, excellent condition at Best Buy. I bought it real fast, assuming they had only 1 unit.

I got it for around 300ish from a really old slickdeal with samsung epp. It is great but not worth the 1000msrp. I would say it feels like a 600 dollar monitor.

Downsides are that it takes a lot of tuning for a good picture, but theres youtube videos that cover that. It's 144hz may not be the best, I have better luck with 120. You may find yourself running v sync more , because at that size, tearing is noticeable. I'm about 2-3ft and it's just right, although one day they're gonna make a 1600p/2k+ ultrawide that i may jump on.

Really happy with the purchase, things like candles and lights look great in game.

This is crazy huge, maybe it's me, I have it and I was planning to down size. Try it out while it's on sale, take advantage of it and see if it works for you.

I had to bump the scaling to 180% on websites; my old eyes are starting to go bad.

I have an ikea desk, feels like it's too close to my face. Playing games on it is okay, i just bought the cheap Acer 34" ultra wide, my eyes feel more comfortable on that than this 43". Less motion sickness for me. 😕

43" is perfect for me, I've been using a 43" TV as a PC monitor since 2017 at 100% scaling.
Doesn't this one have some response time issues though? I've read it has smearing in motion and text scrolling. Reviewers using words like "atrocious" and "horrendous". Some theorize the panel was repurposed from a 60Hz TV. Is the reality not as bad as reviewers say?

The panel is VA so quite a bit worse than IPS. Quantum mini led is the backlight. The only tvs that are really led are OLED or are > 100000$. Every other tv is merely led backlight instead of flourescent tube.

I don't notice it that much surfing on Amazon and looking at Slickdeals, perfect for my MOBA games, though I have to move my head more because the screen is so huge 😂

I've read from a single comment that it only had a decent response time if you turn off local dimming. Some people tested it and the lcd response time is atrocious out of the box, it seems like pixel overdrive doesn't function if using local dimming.
