Not a vet but I have a bunch of these drives. There was buggy firmware that caused these drives to fail prematurely in early 2023. Please make sure you have the latest firmware before you start using it. You can use Samsung Magician to check/update the firmware.

I would assume Samsung is shipping with the most up to date firmware but you never know.

It's the 10th and still no notification for pickup at my local Best Buy even though Samsung's site still says expected delivery date is the 10th. Who knows at this point.

Same story here, but BB customer service did confirm that it was shipped from Samsung and while it was supposed to be there yesterday, they show it arriving now tomorrow. We shall see. Im in Portland, OR.​

Did you give BB customer support your Samsung order ID to look up? Nothing shows up on the BB side as far as pending orders or pickup.

Edit 1: Nvm, just got the email that my order is ready for pickup so heading over to my local BB now.

Edit 2: Picked up. Definitely the slickest deal for me for BF 2024.

Samsung cancelled my order as it had been sitting with BB with an unknown delivery time for the past few weeks. I contacted samsung support to complain and they reinstated the coupon code for my account good until 10 March 2025.

Ironically, I just checked my email and no update. Then I logged in to my BB account and, coincidentally, I get an email from Samsung saying the my order pickup is delayed.

I got the same email today for a 2tb 980 pro. Indefinite delay. Might call BB tomorrow to see if they know anything.

Where did you order yours to? I am in Hillsboro OR and I shipped it to the Beaverton location and I got mine today. It was delivered a day earlier than it originally stated.

I got the 2TB and while it was supposed to be here on the 10th, it finally did arrive on the 15th. I wasnt complaining for $32, though...
