Premier travel cards with high annual fees (venture X, AMEX plat, CSR) usually have unlimited lounge access rather than a few passes.
However, I don't think this card is all that good but getting it for one year is no brainer.
The big three all have the same* priority pass select membership that gets you into crappiest, most crowded general lounges and some mid-tier intl airline lounges during off-peak hours. Sure, there are nice PP lounges - Aberdeen Scotland has one of the best unrestricted PP I've ever been in - but most are pretty rough, esp when compared to AA and Delta lounges or the CapOne, Sapphire, and Centurion.
*VX is nerfing lounges hard on 2/1/26 - card holder only for both CapOne and PP. I'd drop mine, but instead I might just have my wife get he own. The card gives 2x points per $ on everything, 2x fees is still $5 less than a CSR, and we get $400 in credit every year ($300 in the C1 portal and 10k points which are statement-credit redeemable for $100 against travel). That's essentially 0 cost for me.

Still, I can usually find a hotel or last minute fixed car rental within 10-15% of open market and burn the credit that way. And the 10k points is still $100 off the top. IMHO, that beat's CSR's "$150 off semi-annually on $600+/night hotels you wouldn't have stayed in". It might sound like copium, but I honestly don't use Lyft/Uber/DoorDash, I don't subscribe to any (paid) streaming services, and GE is once every 4 years.
I agree on multi city booking, that's not available. But for one way, they have pretty much all the options out there for dates we were looking.
For me the first year is attractive, $300 deduction for hotels straight, unlike Amex Plat where pricing was higher to get that extra $100 back, I got better rates from hotel website.
Not to mention $200 back on bestbuy.
Lounge access to me is hit / miss with every Tommy with a credit card out there.
The problem with Amex plat , I faced was the points transfer. Not having United / American an option, Aeroplan is the only good alternative when it comes to freedom of booking. Yes, you can transfer to Emirates for now, but there's hardly good deal with miles @ Emirates.
I don't mind getting 80k miles with this card for American plus another 10-20k miles with hotels and other flights booking for first year.
Next year, we will see what comes along.

For me, Amex Plat is free+ through Schwab and I save extra on with the Amex International airline program. Gives me 5% on air booked anywhere and even though airline transfers may not be the greatest, another 10% when points converted to Schwab credit.
