I have this monitor, love it. Picture by Picture mode is useful, and it has 1 DisplayPort input in addition to the 3 HDMIs the ports say above. Only improvement I'd like to see is an OLED panel at some point.

It's impractical for console gaming right? Cause you can't game in the middle and have pc on the left and right?

I think I'd prefer this monitor + $120 gift card from Costco. If you value that GC as cash, it's still $30 more and without the free 24" monitor, but returns/support is so much better with Costco than with Samsung. For this monitor, that's with over $30 to me (and a 24" monitor is practically worthless to me).

The link to it and all other retailers where it's $1500. The costco in that thread is the best deal though.

I have been on the fence for this monitor for awhile. I was about to pull the trigger, but as I was researching I came across a couple of threads where people were talking about long use of curved monitors possibly causing astigmatism, or making it really difficult to go back to flat screens for a bit (Because they look bowed).

Anyone here experience anything like that?

I'd buy if it could do this :/ I do a lot of console gaming at my desk so currently have a triple monitor setup (all 16x9).

No, curved should be flat if you place it at the right distance.

You want the monitor to be the perimeter or circumfrence of a circle and you the dot in the center so that no matter where you look at the monitor it is approxmiatly the same distance creating a natural view.

Infact more natural than flat monitors where people like me who have worked with triple monitors now for 20 years were always trying to place them as close to perfect as possible but you build something akin to an octagon instead of a circle and that is no better, and I think its worse as you strain more to see the things that are further away.

I have had this monitor now for several years and I use it many hours a day and I still use my flat screen monitors at work just fine.

Sure you CAN if you really wanted by adding a capture card to your PC and then your game is just a Window that you can manipulate as needed.

Also you can use a console and center the image as well without any extra hardware, just not while also using the other two sides for PC.

I has PBP so you can do a Side by Side and that is already much better than most monitors where PIP is just a tiny box that is not usable for anything.

Thanks. I have a triple 27inch monitor setup that I am looking to slim down and move from. The bezel's aren't the end of the world on the Dell's that I have. I think my biggest worry. I want to go the Costco route just in case I can't adjust and need to return it.
