What you'll need to start:
A stainless steel (preferably) stock pot, at least 3 gallon capacity. Aluminum will do.
A basic brewing kit. Northern Brewer item #7601 [northernbrewer.com]
A recipe kit [northernbrewer.com]. I would suggest a porter or a stout for your first brew, as dark brews are very forgiving of beginner mistakes. I would suggest using US-05 dry yeast.
A fermometer, NB item #7411 [northernbrewer.com]
Starsan Sanitizer, NB item #7930 [northernbrewer.com]
I would *highly* suggest some Fermcap-S, unless you like scrubbing nasty gooey dried up wort off your stovetop, NB item #9136 [northernbrewer.com]

I cleaned out the bar/brewery side of the basement. I already put some waterproof strip around the perimeter to try and keep any water directed to the french drain. I moved the washer and dryer to a corner that will eventually become a bathroom once I move them upstairs. I have an area planned out for a utility sink and brewery on the back wall where I'll vent out the boiloff, one long side of the basement will be the bar, one wall will be for a dartboard/tv/anything, and the other side contains storage and A/C, hot water heater, etc.
I'm leaving an opening on both sides of the stairs so when the other half of the basement is completed into a family room we'll be able to watch TV from the bar so I can definitely use my wall as a dartboard.
This weekend I'm framing and putting up a plastic barrier before hanging my mold-resistant drywall. I'm not taking any chances down there.
Just looking at the drawings and the markings on the floor is making me giddy.
the interview today was bitter sweet. They are trying to ad another step to become a brewer. Before it was either run the fillers or to run the keg line. Also with the understanding on how to use the proper valves, reducers, lines, etc and how to sanitize them. Now they are trying to make it that you have to run the keg line. Kegging is redundant and lame at my brewery. So I am still in the runnings but not hopeful and not going solely on the kegline.
Danby kegerator fridge, can hold 3 pony kegs and a CO2 tank
15 gallon glass demi-john carboy, for fermenting 15 gallons of beer at a time
4x 5 gallon pony cornelius kegs for storing and drinking from
all the necessary adapters for regular kegs and pony kegs
plus a small brew pot, strainer, funnel, hydrometer, thermometer, and maybe more that I'm forgetting for the brewing
CO2 tank, new last summer. good for 4 more years. brand new regulator, can't remember the brand but its a really nice one that I just upgraded to.
Pickup only, I am thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of $650 for everything as that should be well below new prices, but will consider any offer and likely accept it.
Its my understanding that a 15 Gallon fermentor does not buy me much for 10 gallon batches.

$25 for each keg.
$30 for regulator
$40 for CO2
? for connectors and hoses. Not sure on what is permanently attached to the fridge and what is not.
2 - 10 gal rubbermaid round coolers with ball valves and false bottom
50' 1/2 Immersion Chiller
Turkey Fryer
7.5 gallon pot
6 gal carboy with handle, stopper, airlock, etc
All for $150. This will be for mobile brewing, or eventually to turn over to a buddy.
I can always reduce the amount of water and boil up some more if needed... maybe that's why there are two coolers?
I think eventually if I don't use these often enough and none of my buddies want to get into brewing then I'll convert them to a Brutus build.
