I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I see costco cash card can be purchase to meet the requirements.
I purchase yesterday and shows pending transaction on chase but do not see account bonus spent met in the app.
Does it have to be posted and not just pending status ?

Sign in your Ultimate Rewards account here [chase.com], click your CSP account, and then click Your Dashboard. There shows the recent purchases including pending transactions that qualify for the reward points. If you do not see the transactions you are questioning, it is not necessary to mean that they do not qualify for points but just need some time to show up there. Check back and see.

Yes, the activity must be posted for you to get credit. Pending means nothing.

I have a $200 transaction pending from Thrifty Car Rental from 2 weeks ago ... it's just a hold on the key return. It will disappear shortly.

P.S. And congratulations for having met the $4K spending threshold! Applause

THAT DEFINITELY IS the problem! You need the closing to "age out" (my word) on the Chase system and that could take several days at the bare minimum to up to 21 days.

Lastly, there is a rumor that this promotion ends on July 17:
You mean the waiver of the annual fee and $50 grocery credit would end on July 17 or do you mean even the 100K bonus points would end?

In-branch (July 17?): https://www.doctorofcredit.com/ch...nnual-fee/

On-line (July 30?): https://slickdeals.net/f/15070267-chase-sapphire-preferred-card-spend-4-000-in-first-3-months-earn-100k-points?p=148508221#post148508221

At this point, there is very little factual information to go on regarding when the promotional deal will end. There are just rumors/inferences.

EDIT: Presumably the on-line 100K offer would also be available for in-branch applications after July 17, but without the $95 annual fee waiver and without the $50 grocery credit.

However, it is also possible that after the 17th, the 100K offer would only apply to targeted customers (as was the case in the second link, above).

There was also a brief talk of an August expiration date that I haven't bothered to mention because it was purely speculative.

We only know what we know and we don't know a whole lot. Cool

The latest anecdotal reports (in bold) seem to point toward the $100K deal being extended, but the details remain vague..

I applied online and was not instantly approved, was given message that Chase needed to review my app and to call 1-800-527-7419 with any additional questions.

I tried calling that number and have been on hold for over 2 hours. Is there a different number that might get me through quicker? Thanks.

How soon after lifting a freeze on yoru credit reports should you apply for the card assuming there are no other issues. 1 hour? 12 hours? 24 hours?
I think one hour should be sufficient. At least so far I haven't faced a problem even waiting much less than an hour. But doing it immediately after unfreezing sometimes doesn't work.

I went to the branch and the process went smoothly. I worried the credit line of my other cards were too high (same as my annual income), but Chase approved my application right away. The banker also knows his stuff, 100K + 50 + first year annual fee waived. Walked out of the bank in 20 minutes.
