Not DVDs? What are these then...lAzER dIsC? 🗑️ 🔥
If WB wants to sell more of the "super duper set" doesn't it make sense to keep the prices between the two closer together?
If I was them I would leave this at this price and bring out the super duper set and see what happens.
Makes sense not to reveal what's in it, more hype.
You then have many sales on that day for either or.
If people wait now maybe they buy one when the super duper one comes out.
If they continue to wait until BF, they make what they can and then come out with the Special Edition BD version 😜
Makes complete business sense IMO.
I for one did that also because its a fav of movies and there is an upgrade in PQ AND AQ each time.
Each time was a reference upgrade including this one especially on the AQ side which says a lot IMO.

For a 4K release, WB made kind of a splash with this one ... I would have thought now would be a great time to, say, fix the Gollum model from the first movie to match the much better one from 2 and 3. Jackson himself had involvement in this re-release, and yet they didn't touch any of the VFX. If they didn't now, I don't know what would compel them to later outside of a massive shift in the costs involved.
You're welcome, have a lovely evening.
LOL so you comprehend the difference from "DVD" vs "lAzER dIsC" but you keep asking "Are these not for DVDs?"/"Not DVDs?" 🤣
You might want to go back to your Xbox/PS before your mom tells you to get off of it and clean your room! 👍🏻
