I like this one, but it is very expensive (over $400). My plan is to have a very robust photo and video editing system, and this motherboard looks like a good way forward for my interests.

In my experience, better to buy into a platform late when things are stable instead of being a guinea pig testing out the new stuff for a year or two. Just my 2c.

I agree with you. I typically build computers with processors and motherboards that have been sold for at least a year. That scheme usually allows me to get products with fewer bugs and for less money than when they are first released. After I build a system the only component I ever change is the graphics card.
