Yep, saw it afterwards after looking up the set. I think I might stick with Costco or best buy for my television purchases.
Bought a smaller iteration of this model last week and lines popped up on screen within in three days. Week before that I got a 55" version that I returned because the panel was poor.
Friend in a different state bought a 65" and had to return it because his had a bad panel too. I assumed it was very unlikely that I'd have the same issue and ignored that red flag.
I'll now wait for BF but if you must buy one, make sure you get extended warranty for this because you're buying a lottery ticket with Hisense.
Edit: both of mine were u6g while my friend's was one of the A series Roku models.

I won't buy online or even have to have it shipped. Too much chance of internal or external damage n o matter what the brand.
My brother had to return 3 Samsungs a year ago shipped to his home because of screen issue, bars, lines, colored areas, etc.

Got it from Amazon. Never thought there would be such a high risk of damaging shipping and handling. Thanks for telling me.
LED, OLED TVs are particularly sensitive to drops, bumps, not keeping in an upright or other proper position when being handled.
The larger the screen also, the more chance for damage.
I know this is Slickdeals, but the last few TVs I bought were at B&M stores. Even if it cost me $100 to $150 more I'd just rather be able to go to a store and get the service that goes with it whether returning, asking questions, and being able to inspect the box before even buying.
Appreciate your effort and detail.
