You really need to read-up on the specs of this year's ULED Series. The H8F is no match even for the U6G. The 55" U6G is currently $499 and well worth the extra $100.

Very nice, first the R646 drops to $1000, now the U8G. Finally seeing some good seasonal sales. I'm hoping Amazon will be adjusting their price soon too. Electronic Express is also selling the U8G through Amazon for $1000.

If I have to go to that trouble I am just gonna order it through Best Buy. It is beyond asinine that they would make me do that when a price adjustment could be made in 2 minutes.

Thanks OP! I saw it at this price but I didn't trust eBay/buydig. I also prefer to go pick it up myself from Best Buy to make sure it doesn't get beat up in transit. I was considering the R646 at this price but those reviews are scary. Electronics and appliance quality has been bad since Covid. 5yr warranty for $200 just in case.

It's still a deal for those who don't have a great tv like you and need one. I remember back in the day when gas prices shot up from $1.30 to $4 outta nowhere. We got excited about paying double ($2.60) just a year later and it became the new norm.
