It is not hot anymore as we have much better deal these days. The last one was a 32GB 2 TB version for the same price.

That was the 3060 version I believe, this is a better deal than most others, show me another laptop with a 130w 3070 and screen this good for the same price.

I still haven't pulled the trigger on it, but I've heard very good things... I'm just wondering if I really need the 3070, or if I'd be happy with a 3060. Or.. .if I should wait for the refresh. MSRP on newer models looks pretty high though.

Since it's open box, I'd probably return and grab the Legion Pro. If it were "new" I'd probably hesitate more. I'd look at the wattage on the GPU and cooling capabilities, too. (check review comparisons)

$101 more but... a lot more drive space and 16 gig more RAM. A good deal for those additions, if you need them. Not available anymore though.

This is still easily the best deal on a Legion gaming laptop. An authorized Lenovo vendor on the big auction site has this laptop with 1tb of storage for $1,380 but that vendor is known for problems if you need to return (a restocking charge). Or if you know you need 2tb and 32gb RAM, Costco has this at $1,699, but most people don't need that right away. Until the 2022 models have been out for a while and have their prices come down (I would say by September), this $1,399 deal for the 2021 L5P with a 3070 is still an amazing deal. It's just a little harder to pull the trigger when newer models are just on the horizon Wink
