Thanks for posting but Intel tests used DDR5! It's going to cost a mint if you want to load up your motherboard with RAM. The i9 looks interesting for some people but both choices are going to depend on individual situations.
If you're upgrading from AM4, though, you probably already have a mobo that doesn't need to be repurchased

I don't want or need a new Intel platform. I upgraded my AM4 build to 16 cores with no added cost or regrets. I can live with a 9% speed penalty. Finally, I enjoy rewarding AMD for injecting competition into a stagnant market.
