I can confidently say the VIOFO A119 V3 worked fine in the Atlanta heat of 101F~. June/July has been a scorcher. All the high-end should have supercapacitor that can withstand the heat. The a119v3 rated up to 149F.

I have this, but had to disconnect the GPS portion of it, as it was causing constant reboots.

Looked good until I see it is battery instead of capacitor. If your climate is cooler, give it a try.

It's $10 cheaper than last week.

I have been through 2 of these so far due to heat causing the lens to shift and then the focus is blurry. The current one I have has the same issue but not as bad.

Just FYI for hot climates to check for this.

Not true 4K. For 4K you need at least 8MP on the sensor. Look at the resolution of Rove and check Sony IMX335. None are full 4K res.

I have A119V2 and had same issue. Have they had it fixed now on a v3?

Leave it connected to the GPS but plug the power to the camera. This will still power the GPS module.

Man these used to be like $45 on sale. Amazing dash cams tho. I had mine for 5 years at even 100+ Texas temp and still works like a champ. 101% recommend getting one.
