Not sure why the downvotes on this one. Yes you can get the older ones cheaper, but this is the best price I have seen on the new gen. You could argue that it's not a huge step up, but I think for the kit it would be hard to pass up for someone looking to get into the m12 line.

But they don't need a receipt where they see you didn't pay for it? I'm guessing they give you store credit?

The way Home Depot does these bogo deals is that they split the free cost between the 2 items. So the free item doesn't actually show up as $0 on your recipe. It has a dollar amount and that gets returned when you return the item. Thus you keep the one you want at a discounted price.

Also not sure why this is expired? It works just fine, ordered the m18 as I was waiting to get the additional battery.
