Price is good for the ratchet..if you select other tools the combo set goes up . I was trying to get the right angle drill and the combo went up to like 150 or so...
If I do store pickup and set them to two different stores, do I have to call and cancel the ratchet? Or will just not picking it up eventually auto-cancel it?
Sort of, some corporate hero cashiers will tell you you can't return it separately, but you most definitely can. I suggest saying "I want to return this" and giving them the order # only. Worst case you might have to try another store/come back at another time.

If you want to keep the other tool then you're going to pay full price. With these deals you want the most expensive "free item" to return as it creates the largest total "value" and thus largest percentage of discount.

ordered for delivery but wont let me cancel the ratchet only, i have the option to cancel both only
They've made this a lot harder to do, generally the best option is to order both for store pickup and either return or order to separate stores and try and get the second store to cancel. Unless the stores are close I'd just do one store as a lot of stores will give you the "got to return it all" line and not want to cancel just the filler item for the "hack".

Some stores will initiate a pickup/return if you don't pick the item up after a certain period, but it doesn't seem to be automated, I think someone just looks at orders waiting for pickup and if it's over their pre-determined limit they may or may not call and then do a pickup/return to get it out of their system. But I've had stores try and tell me they can't cancel part of a promotion like this, but ultimately they did as I didn't make it there to pick it up and a couple more weeks went by and it was cancelled. The inconvenience is being out the money for a long period waiting on them. I just order it all to one store and return now.

Okay, thanks! I've read some people having trouble picking it all up from one store and being told they can't just return the promotional item, but this seems like maybe a store by store thing and if you get the right person they will return it.

Yeah some CSRs think these deals are somehow taking advantage of their employer. I submit that they've been doing this for years, it let's the circumvent minimum advertised pricing rules, and if they remotely cared they'd have put a hard stop to it ages ago. I've never had an issue returning something on the first try in person as a return, only had issues with second stores saying they can't cancel because of the combo deal.

That impact driver with the four different settings is by far the most handy tool for a homeowner Milwaukee has ever created.
Drill has enough power to do 98% of drilling tasks in both of these are so much easier on the wrist shoulder go into tiny places and even easy for kids to use.
These have been my best Milwaukee purchase, and I own all the M 12 stuff as well as the enemy team.
