in for 3. will be amazing gifts to some of my friends who are new home owners. i did the "hack" thing. came out to $124 per kit without the bonus 2.5ah battery

Anyone used this hammer drill in concrete? I have to replace some sill plates in the garage and am looking for a hammer drill for the tapcons. Only need to make a couple holes but don't know if it's worth getting something beefier.

I believe you can order both items for in-store pickup at two different stores and cancel the battery within 45 minutes on Home Depot website or app.

No, you have to return it to the store.

It specifically says upon checkout returns have to be done instore.

A corded one is probably cheaper and more suitable for the task when the outlet is nearby.

Cinder block and brick is great anything with aggregate like poured concrete is a bit harder and the drill will struggle.

Edit: maybe this does work…can't confirm though as I just ordered both items for pickup at same store. No big deal, I'll already be at the store to pickup so east enough to return at same time.

No, must be same store for pickup:
"Please make sure promotional items have the same delivery or pickup options and try again"

Edit: Oh, my bad. You get the above if one item is pickup, the other delivery.

If both are set to Pickup....two stores, you get a warning
"Multiple store locations are selected for pickup. Before proceeding to checkout, please take a moment to review and, if necessary, modify your store locations for pickup."
