But I still wouldn't recommend this monitor, for other reasons: Since it's wide but isn't curved, it's hard to read text near the edges (though, curved likely costs more). And switching the input source is annoying since you have to wait while it cycles through the ports. (I'm now using a Dell monitor that lets me switch the input source via software; I don't think this Samsung monitor has that.)
I only got it for a few months. No issue. Im using it on the hp hot desk mount aka ergotron.

All these acronyms makes me feel like it's gonna be UWQCLSTRFCKHD in like 10 years and I'm gonna have even less idea of what that means than I have for UWQHD now

It is to a specific page of that thread, use your finger and eyes to scroll and look, very simple to find the two links.
Thank you govenar, I'm hoping those settings will help, have had this monitor for a few months and I love it except for Windows constantly doing this.
