Dude just..... Stop. This is the best deal yet for legit series x/s ssd storage. A decent 512gb nvme drive is in this range if you were going to put it in a computer, so you're not too far off price per gb... At MSRP these things are a joke.

Not really, some newer games are coming in around 100 gb then 2-10 gb worth of updates on a couple months, more if you decide to play online.

Was just about to buy a 1tb SSD but wouldnt only be able to play back compat games on it. With most games going the route of XSX optimized...probably better to just get this. And cool it with the installs lol.

Edit: Sigh, sold out. I blame the asshat that got 11 a few posts back.

The whole idea with this expansion card is that new games will work and work as fast as they're capable of. You can add your own ssd drive but you may not be able to play next-gen games at all or on par. So you would put all your old games on an any external ssd and all new games on the series x/s or this expansion drive.
