    Some streaming devices offer better performance than native TV apps. Smart TVs usually have weaker processing, slower internet connection, lack support for certain audio codecs, etc. Sometimes it's just a preference for UI (I've never seen a smart TV UI that I thought was good) or wanting features like an Apple TV being a HomeKit hub or other added features.

    Good deal. The new model's biggest addition is support for HDR10+ but unless you have a TV that doesn't support Dolby Vision, this is the one to buy

    If you don't see it in stock on Amazon, make sure you keep checking the "See all Buying Options" button. I clicked on it and it let me order it for 79.99, new, shipped and sold by Amazon, despite it not showing in stock on the main page. However, it's showing a Dec 31st delivery date. I suspect the wait time will decrease and I don't need it right this very moment so I'm happy either way.

    Edit: Delivery date updated to Dec 6th now.

    Yes from an environmentally perspective Amazon goes totally bonkers. Had the same experience. They rather let people ship stuff back and forth instead of just crediting the difference.

    if Kohl's isn't too far, usually it means another extra $5 Kohls cash... me and my wife split our returns, so each trip to Kohls for Amazon returns is $10 Kohls cash.
