Are you using the 18v Ryobi? How does it perform?
Its the best functionality vs size that I've found. You can cut everything but crown with it while it weights half or a third of a big 10/12 inch slider.
If anyone is on the fence and in the Ridgid ecosystem go ahead and get it you won't regret it.
The saw is OK but no one could reasonably describe it as much more than adequate. It is lightweight and very portable. Power is not abundant, but it gets the job done so long as it's used with tempered expectations. The blade deflection can be significant if the slide action is pushed too hard. A light touch will get reasonably accurate performance.
The brad nailer is a little bit touchy. It will misfire(not shoot) more often than it should and sometimes the only way to get it to "reset" is to pop out the battery and reinsert. It is also quite heavy and bulky compared to an air brad nailer.
I consider both tools to be ultra portable and are forgiven their shortcomings as such. However, a full size sliding compound saw and an air nailer are not going to become obsolete on account of these.

Other than that watch out for Home Depot daily deals. I got a 4 pack of the 6 AH max output batteries this year for $289
Shadow line is great too, my larger hitachi doesn't have that, I will not buy another miter without that feature.
Sure 7 1/4 has it limitations but I rarely run into them. My 12" slider hardly ever gets used now, this is my go to saw.
