Before you buy this, make sure your motherboard supports and allows you to enable Resizable BAR or you will be very disappointed in performance:

https://www.intel.com/content/www...20settings.
I did a little online searching, and found this is supposed to perform pretty close to (in some ways slightly better, some slightly worse) than an RTX 3060. For $225, that's pretty good.
what would you recommend instead at this price point?

I am about to pull the trigger on a new RX 6600 XT for $192 on Aliexpress. Soyo SY-RX6600XT in this case Much faster and much cheaper than this ARC 750 card in every respect. Guaranteed arrival time 12 days or less. Or you can buy it on Newegg since December 24, 2022 where it's $305 for the same card. Half the sellers on Newgg are from China now might as well cut out the middleman. Customer service and refund policy is also better than Newegg.
Those are fake 6600XT cards. A fool and his money soon part.

No they are not fake RX6600XT cards, any more than the Ryzen 5 5600 that I already got for $95 last week was fake. They cut out the middleman, the guys on commission, and everyone else with his finger in the pie who demands their cut of the deal (including sites like this one, for that matter). The B550M motherboard I received last week for $73 isn't fake either. Like I said you can buy the same Soyo video card on Newegg for close to $300 if you must, or that M/B for $178 it's the same part number in the same box.

Run userbenchmark and post your results. I believe you. I doubt the benchmarks will believe your GPU is legit. I have a genuine 5600 that routinely tests in the 100% percentile.

Wonder if this card has the same issue. I don't trust them to be competent enough to fix driver issues . Pay little more for something better.

Here you go, ya big dope, I just finished the build 5 minutes ago and have not even installed the chipset drivers yet. https://valid.x86.fr/eu94ha
It's an ITX by the way. My $95 Ryzen 5 5600 from Aliexpress is strictly legit. I don't care what sort of benchmarking dweeb's score come in at either since that has nothing to do with what I pay for component. I did nothing whatsoever to optimimize it yet first bootup was a few minutes ago. This more than proves my chip is a real 5600.

It's a deal but keep in mind, Intel might stop making GPUs again and then the drivers will likely not get updated much. Current state of drivers is ok, but Nvidia and AMD drivers are still better.

I said your 6600xt was counterfeit. That's the only reason why I said to use userbenchmark to prove my point.

It will fit in a B450 standard axt board. It's a side grade vs a 2060S currently. But an upgrade over a standard 2060. The card is kind of long but not compared to high end cards.
I have current have GIGABYTE B450 AORUS PRO WIFI with GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1650 OC 4G. Should I upgrade to A750? I got A750 for free.

Of course you should. The A750 is a big upgrade over the 1650. Congrats on your free card. Wish Intel would send me free stuff.

I have not ordered the RX 6800 XT yet though. But after the good showing of this genuine Ryzen 5 5600 from Aliexpress I bought for $95 and just installed today, I am confident the next thing I buy from this overseas shop is equally legit. You mentioned your 5600 is real -- well so is mine. After I installed the M/B drivers from ASROCK and did nothing more, and ran the benchmark again now it scores in 5600X territory https://valid.x86.fr/v8m98z

Here's the thing though, it's really not up to me to prove your assertions is it? You have no evidence the RX 6800 XT will be fake, any more than my Ryzen 5600 that is quite real, from this same shop on Aliexpress. I will buy again from them with confidence. And I don't have time running random benchmarks to please random people. It's up to you to support your position anything from Aliexpress must be fake. You've not succeeded so far. So far I have one real Ryzen, one real motherboard, and about to order a RX 6600 XT for $192 from them now.

The A750 is a better deal than the 6650 XT when you look at the whole package.

A750 has ray tracing performance on par with Nvidia's 3000 series, RDNA 2 unfortunately has far far worse RT.

A750 outperforms the 6650 XT in newer games with new API. Though the 6650 XT outperforms it in older games or ones with older API.

A750 has AV1 encoding, only the brand new $800+ GPUs have it so far.

A750/Arc has better H.264 and H.265 encoding, both in quality and speed.

A750/Arc has AI XMX cores that allow it to accelerate AI workloads, like Gigapixel AI (which comes free with Arc), and a few Adobe features, and whatever else ends up using it.

A750/Arc can use XeSS upscaling, which has better quality than FSR 2, though it can also use FSR 2 if a game doesnt support XeSS.

A750/Arc is supported by Plex, AMD GPUs arent officially supported.

Drivers are improving, yes AMD's are currently better, but as we've seen since launch Intel is gaining performance on the competition.

Finally, you are supporting a 3rd competitor. Look at AMD and Nvidia's current gen pricing, its insanely high. The sooner we end that duopoly, the sooner we get GPU prices back to normal.
Are you seriously? RT on this kind of gpu?

A bad news to whoever wanna buy intel's gpu, their VP of GPU division was just PIPed yesterday.
I guess they might cut the discrete GPU division very soon, like they did around 15 years ago.
And if they do, they would dump these cards as quick as possible, huge discount should be on the way.
Just saying.

I'd stay FAR away from Intel GPU's right now. The rumors of them shutting down their discrete GPU operation means that driver updates would probably come to an end too.
