Nah, you're wrong, sorry. BB has the wrong spec.

Per ASUS: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/f.../techspec/ [asus.com]

35.5 x 25.2 x 2.21 ~ 2.68 cm (13.98" x 9.92" x 0.87" ~ 1.06")

It's 1.06" at its thickest. It's 22% thicker than BB claims; 0.87" is probably the thickness with the screen up, or at the narrowest portion.
Nah, you've been wrong from the beginning. You said the Asus was "THICC" when in reality at most you're talking about the difference between 1.06 and .99 which is a whopping .07" difference. And you've been consistently saying it doesn't have a backlit keyboard when I've shown you to be wrong.

So either way, you were wrong.

Welcome to my ignore list bro.

Should I go with an open box - satisfactory on this one or this Dell NIB for $599? It will be used for light gaming and college.

This one has a more efficient processor and 2gb more of vram. This one is better for something like cod but the one you linked would be just as good if you aren't trying to push over 1080p at like ultra settings.

Yeah same situation, it's in pristine condition and I lucked out nothing else for 100s of miles. For 700 to include tax it's a great deal!!
Yes, I picked up today an excellent condition for the same price. It was almost brand new , looking at the battery history, it was previously powered on for couple of hours.

Has 11months warranty on it. Planning to
Switch to 3yr with accidental damage warranty for 76$ in Lenovo website.

Memory isn't soldered, which was a big concern of mine.

Supports up to 32GB (2 x 8 GB) SO-DIMM DDR5-5600
It supports more than that. The Ryzen 5 7640HS supports up to 256GB of DDR5. As the memory controller is on the CPU these days, the laptop/motherboard doesn't limit the RAM capacity; the CPU does.
