Nice laptop for the price (open box unit). The only negative is the weak screen. 300 nits and 45% NTSC. Meh screen at best.

Be careful with this laptop. I bought it in December and it has weird issues with not waking up after putting it to sleep (essentially just closing the screen). There are forum posts all over the place for this issue and it seems to be either BIOS related or NVIDIA driver related.

I like the laptop a lot and bought it in spite of the 45% NTSC screen which is meh but definitely not the craziest thing if you just want a decent budget laptop for playing newer games at decent framerates.

I would say the not waking up from sleep issue is way more of a concern than the screen. So just keep that in mind if you're thinking about picking this one up.

No, this is a clamshell laptop and not a convertible.

Laptop works great except for the issue you mentioned. Reinstalling an older NVIDIA driver helped for me and I no longer have that issue.

Disabling discrete graphics fixed the sleep issue for me. There's a couple work arounds like this or using an older NVIDIA driver.

Is 300 nits considered a terrible screen?
