Bought this yesterday at the $649 price and still consider it a good value for a bedroom TV in this size range. We had been considering the Sony X85K at $599...for an extra $50, this was a no-brainer.
In terms of TV and movie watching, the difference between this and my C2 are not substantial enough to get worked up about on a secondary TV.
I've seen you in the other TV threads…
How many do you have now??
Why do people still think there's good TV deals on BF? If they don't know by now….

I bought this last October or November for $570. The A3 should be on sale around Black Friday. Might not be this price but for sure it'll be pretty cheap. I love it. I do t game. 60hz is fine. Just a lil laggy on my mouse curser
nice, I use a LG 43" 4k tv as a monitor for my Mac mini. works great. but wanted to upgrade to an OLED panel.
Think of HDTVs as computer monitors with a TV tuner module attached.
The majority of monitors/hdtvs are all made by the same big lcd makers in the world, so an lg oled panel going into their monitors will be very similar, if not the same as the panel going into their hdtvs.
BUT the big difference is you get shafted buying a "large monitor" whereas HDTV prices are super cheap (eg under $200 for a 40" lcd hdtv walmart).
So yes, it'll do great as an OLED computer monitor. With all its pluses amd minuses.
Few minuses - not a gaming monitor, so input to display lag greater than those 144hz+ gaming monitors. Potential oled burn in over years of use ( should be automatically taken care of with potential microshifting of the image when this auto burn in prevention occurs ). Not as crazy bright as the 1000+ nit microlcd displays.
Pluses - everything oled delivers. Better colors, contrast, true blacks, sub 5ms refresh rates, super low motion blur, super wide viewing angles, etc.
Don't forget also, when you join Best Buy plus before end of this month, you will get back a $50 reward certificate. So, it basically offsets the cost of joining. Best Buy cardholders also get 5% back plus an existing bonus on top of that. Great deal for an OLED!
It is listed in this thread and also in Best Buy promos. It is for spending $500 or more which this obviously takes you over the $500 making it a wash.

where did you see an A3 ? i don't think they sell them in the US
Is the warranty worth it for this A2 if I'll be using as a bedroom TV?
Can you fork out another $550 to buy another tv if it breaks? If no, get the insurance. If yes, skip the insurance. Only get insurance for things that will break your bank to replace.

Pretty much stunning for photo and video work.

My thoughts exactly… who knows, it may be helpful with another buy, but doubt it
