    OP is a proclaimed "expert" but leaves out the two most critical specs: resolution, and that it's a mere VA panel (with terrible viewing angles).

    Just a heads-up about Samsung smart monitors, or at least the ones I have tried. There is no direct input switching. It tries to do it via when it gets a signal. If you are like me and want to manually switch between different sources (Work, personal, console) it becomes super annoying without a direct input button. Not even the remote has it. I actually returned my $800 monitor because of this.

    I didn't like the B model when I tried it and I ended up with a lower resolution 32" G65B which I love.

    Three complaints were (in order)

    1) Pretty bad speakers
    2) Off axis color shift is worse than most VA Samsung's I have used
    3) The stand was OK

    I know for a fact the stand is better on the C model.

    You can now hold down the home button to get to settings and be there super fast. It also is just an overlay that doesn't interrupt what's on the screen.

    No i settled on a LG Ultra Gear 4k 27" 144hz that has a nub to allow you to switch which is easier but still takes a second for the screen to recognize that i have hit the joystick/nub. No clue why they don't just give a button. My Asus Tough has a button but it is only 2k.
