If you get this delivered, keep upright for 24 hours before plugging in and turning on
Manual defrost
Does not specify that it's garage ready, so probably isn't.
Looks like a good deal if you're ok with those downsides.
A fridge/freezer typically requires the temperature outside of the freezer to be above a certain temperature to work. Some are not designed to be used in temperatures that garages reach in colder climates which can prevent the freezer from actually cooling the inside.

Funny how my parents' freezer from the 1990s was garage ready. My grandparents' freezer from the 1960s was too.

If it has passive heat dissipation or coils on the back it is not as effective at blowing off the heat with a fan over the coils. One other thing about these upright freezers is that if you frequently open them you lose a lot of cold air vs a chest freezer.

The last pic shows no coils on the back so my guess is they're hidden underneath which imo practically speaking is much worse because it fills up with dust and it's so freaking hard to clean causing it to f up after a while. I have an old fridge with the exposed coils on the back and it's always running well no maintenance.

Have in garage 4 months old. Love it. Winter in Connecticut will be telling, so far so good.

What makes a freezer "garage ready"? Is that really a thing?

This is just not scientifically relevant. The air is not what matters in freezers, it is the temperature and thermal capacity of the items inside the freezer. Air is a terrible conductor of temperature change, so opening the door is not relevant if everything inside is stone cold frozen and you close it within a few minutes.
