The S7 FE trade in value is $300.00, which got me excited for an $84.99 tablet until I got to checkout and Samsung is taking the 30% off deal for this tablet off the price AFTER trade in value, so the 30% off changes from $165 off to only $75 off, bringing my total to 174.99 plus tax after trade in.

I have a Lenovo tablet and their software upgrades are not the greatest. Mine was delayed and they only gave 1 OS update. After the update the device still feels a little buggy and I don't think they're going to update it anymore except for security updates.

Slightly off topic, but maybe someone can help. The edu discount program says "for students, teachers, and parents" but when I try to sign-up it only gives student and teacher options. Anybody know how to activate the discount program as a parent?

I see the high end tablet market has been picking up steam over the last few years. Genuinely curious as to the use cases? Not sarcastic, honest question. Like do you use it as a laptop replacement? If so do you find you can do most/all things that you could with a full laptop? I have a s23 ultra so I would imagine it would be a similar experience with a larger screen, and I know it has the dex feature for a "desktop like" experience. I've used my phone in this scenario but still have to use rdp to a Windows box for some things. But now wondering if I'm just behind the times 😂

Also anyone have experience with this vs budget flagships like the xiaomi pad 6?

But I did it because the s7's won't get anymore security updates after this summer. At least the s9's fall into the new 5 years of security updates policy.

I tried this route and was unsuccessful. The discount is being done as 30% off. So if you expect an additional $250 off for trading in a S6 Lite, the net additional discount will only be 70% of that.
