I built this with Asus tuf 502 case, ASUS ROG Strix LC II 360 AIO, MSI 4070 super ti, Samsung 980 2TB and a bunch of Asus argb case fans. No issues. MSI automatically installed a bunch of stuffs after first boot and I think it updated BIOS. CPU idle at 38.

Got this deal, but having problems with it, couldn't not get it to boot for hrs, finally figure it out but it only boots with one stick of ram installed in a specific spot, either ram stick would boot but not both together, updated to latest bios, not sure if anybody else has same problem

No issues with this. Built August 2023. Undervolted a tad and paired with a Peerless Assassin and now might hit mid 50s while gaming. Thinking about jumping on that Fractal case from B&H and just pulling the Noctuas from my current case

A lot of the issues have been fixed with BIOS updates. However, it really matters what you do. the 5800x3d is a pretty impressive gaming machine where the 7700x is more all around great.
I like that I have the latest tech so having a motherboard and RAM that will work with processors 5 years from now is pretty cool
