The Alienware deal (AW3225QF) has the superior panel, it's the newer generation of QD Oled panels which are much better then the original iterations in the G8 and AW3423DW(F).
Wish I was blown always. Might have to get this.

one's a 4k monitor (16:9) the other is an ultrawide 3440x1440 (21:9)
Also, the alienware gets higher refresh rates which explains the higher price (but pushing the 4k would be harder than pushing the "bigger", but lower pixel dense samsung)

Since no one mentioned aspect ratios, they are different, imo apples to oranges on actual comparison
Happy to see these this low, I figured 700 would be breached on BF but hoping for lower then!
You don't want a refurb. 90 day warranty vs 3 years.
And I bet most, if not all of them, are customer returns from before they put a protective film on the monitor. Because before they did, the panel would get scratched/scuffed from the bubble wrap they had taped to the panel. Same thing happened with the AW 34" Ultrawide

I got this monitor (g8). And im blown always. The size widescreen ratio playing game is on another level. Having a 1800R carve is a must. Almost no curve compare to the new LG. Hdr is incredible plus i did the hack to get to 1000nit hdr from 400 nit
If this break i would buy this back in a heart beat
4090 pushes everyone game max out high res to over 100fps

Really just concerned about Samsung's customer service, warranty, RMA, etc. at least as far as monitors go
