Dell Outlet stuff that routinely shows up with coupon codes reducing prices even further may be a good option for those looking to save more money and getting a reputable refurbed product.

15% CB from Dell at popular site plus $50 off $250 Amex offer brings this down to about $170 after tax and filler item.

You will likely want to use a higher font scaling unless you have super good eyes.. but the text and images would look sharper than on 32. 32 inch is really the sweet spot for 4k.

This is my primary display for work. I don't have a similar 32" to compare but this monitor is fantastic for all the email and spreadsheet stuff I do.

I also use 4k@27" at work, I love it. When people come by my cube they tell me I have good eyesight though, maybe you want to try it first.

Definitely worth it in you do anything besides gaming. Also 32 inches is massive.

You will use scaling anyway. No 32 inches is too big for 4k.

Well, I am using 32 inch 4k monitor right now, and I don't think it's too big. Maybe you have really good eyes to think it's too big for 4k.

Whatever scaling you use for 32 inch you will end up using more on 27.

Depends what you care about. I have a 32" 4k for my main and 27" 4k (this monitor) in portrait. I really like both. For main I prefer the size of 32". When I used 27" for my main, I thought it was too small, 32" works perfect for me.

For the ppi on 27" and 32", its 18% more (163 ppi vs 138 ppi). But I think you really need to be about 12" away to notice the better density. I sit about 24" away and can't tell the difference (though I am nearsighted).

Between a 27" and 32", I think a primary consideration should be the depth of your desk. With 27" a 24" desk works fine. But for 32", I think you want at least 29" depth. With some monitor arms, this would help with a few inches as well. I prefer my 32" with monitor arms on my 29" desk, so this puts my working distance around 29" or so.

Do you have the 4K curved 32" of this model? I am thinking to go with the 32" for $80 more since I am planning to only use 1 main monitor and the laptop on the side but not sure if I like the curve monitor.
