Same price at dell.com [dell.com]. I have this monitor and like it a lot. It went bad about 8 months in but replaced by Dell under warranty.

what happened in 8 months. Normally even crappy monitors dont go bad in that much time. I have a cheap LG 24" 1080p monitor I bought with my desktop in 2017 and its still holding on. I am not a gamer but looking at 4K monitor for watching youtube/netflix etc. Debating if I should get this or LG one or wait for a 32" one at good price.

I just returned this monitor. Terrible uniformity on my copy, right and left sides were way darker.

this Dell vs the LG that seems to keep going on sale? https://slickdeals.net/f/17024800-27-lg-27uk500-b-3840x2160-4k-uhd-ips-freesync-monitor-197-free-shipping
I just got this monitor (the Dell); it's replacing an LG 27UP650-W, a better model than the $197 dealio. The LG died after 9-10 months, and LG essentially refused to honor the warranty because I didn't have the original box. I am not kidding. LG is horrible with after-sales support and service for lower-cost items.

I find the image quality _slightly_ inferior with the Dell vs. what I had, so the Dell probably wins versus the cheaper LG. The Dell has a good, but not great adjustable monitor stand - the old LG was better, while it worked anyway - although the $197 deal was for a far inferior stand, not really adjustable at all.

I'm pleased with the monitor so far, and don't have any uniformity issues per the other poster here. It's good for office-type stuffs, which is what I'm using it for.
