Not a vet but I have a bunch of these drives. There was buggy firmware that caused these drives to fail prematurely in early 2023. Please make sure you have the latest firmware before you start using it. You can use Samsung Magician to check/update the firmware.

I would assume Samsung is shipping with the most up to date firmware but you never know.

I can't get it to work. It's like there's no option to choose between shipping to my home or the Best Buy stores near me that have them in stock. I still get the $12 off with my Student discount though.
