Not a vet but I have a bunch of these drives. There was buggy firmware that caused these drives to fail prematurely in early 2023. Please make sure you have the latest firmware before you start using it. You can use Samsung Magician to check/update the firmware.

I would assume Samsung is shipping with the most up to date firmware but you never know.

You shouldn't go to epp page. Go to grovement program page then click sign up. You then login or sign up with id.me information.

I'm in mobile and without my government work phone, no access ton that email.

I have setup id.me in the past, but I'm not seeing where on Samsungs mobile page to link. Is this desktop only, I' ve not found the way to link. Ideas?
