Curious question. What is the meaning of 2 years of Samsung+ plan? Monitor has 3 years of warranty. What does Samsung+ do?

Where are you seeing 3 years of warranty? On here I only see 12 months.

I have been looking for a decent deal on Samsung's 49 and 57" for a while. Someone in last thread put in a link about 3 years coverage. Let me find that for you.

That's a different model

G95SC (this deal) - 12-Month Warranty
G95SD (that deal) - 36-Month Warranty
sadly the G95SD is back up to $1,259.99. If you don't need a new monitor ASAP, you might wait till it drops again.

Sigh. 95c vs 95D. 12 months vs 36. The heck, Samsung!

G95SD = matte anti-glare + Tizen
G95SC = Glossy + Tizen
G93SC = Glossy no Tizen
G93SD = Matte no Tizen

So, I bought the 49" Odyssey OLED G95SC in September 11, 2023 for $1371.06
For what it's worth, the screen is still fine on mine. No burn-in, but I am very careful.
From what I understand, no warranty covers burn-in. That should be true for both G95SC and G95SD (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

One thing I like about this monitor is the multi-view screen. I can plugin a cable for HDMI and Displayport and see both on the screen.
One thing I don't like is being forced to use the control that comes with it and having to learn voice commands to do things that used to be simple.
Games are beautiful; the HDR is so-so, but still nice; love OLEDs....

the one with the 3 year warranty does mention burn in covered under normal circumstances. Same goes for the MSI version of this screen using the same Samsung panel, 3 year warranty with burn in protection, they make it more explicit than samsung does imo. (I own the G91SD, the version with no smart stuff)

The LG one looks more clearer and colorful than Samsung.
