Both of these battery packs have 21700 cells, so they have more output than the basic batteries, but they're also a little bulkier, and less power than a POWERPACK.

The 4 Ah has a single row of 21700s, this is how is compares to other single-row packs (maximum current):

basic (22 A) < this one (30 A) < POWERSTACK* (45 A) < POWERPACK (60 A)
The 6 Ah has two rows of 21700s, this is how is compares to other two-row packs (maximum current):

6Ah: basic (44 A) < this one (60 A) = POWERSTACK* (60 A)< POWERPACK (120 A)
* POWERSTACK are layers, not rows of cells, but these are the comparisons from the closest Ah capacity packs

...and of the traditional 20V Max batteries, their 6Ah with Samsung INR21700-30T cells hits the hardest... much harder than the 40T cells in the 8AH pack or the 50S cells in the 10AH pack. To beat it you gotta go PowerStack (pouch cells), PowerPack (tabless cells), or FlexVolt (60V Max). 9Ah FlexVolt is the same 30T cells in a 3P, 15 cell configuration.

Right on. I listed the 6 Ah as equal to the POWERSTACK at 60 A. But with the Samsung 30 T, I believe its actually 70 A. That being said, while the POWERSTACK 5 Ah is rated at only 60 A, it does seem to have more beans than the 6 Ah in real-world testing.

Yeah. PowerStack's voltage barely sags under load until it's nearly dead. That's why I prefer my 5AH PowerStacks for trimmer, blower, and vacuum duty even if I sometimes have to pull the trigger twice to get going (short circuit protection balks at the high start-up load).

Good deal... But Not the lowest. I snagged it at $89 earlier this year, but likely won't see that price through the holidays until maybe clearance time in the local stores. I'd grab one if I needed more.
