It's not easy or obvious, they constantly rename, etc. It can be made to work but your best bet is straight to PCIe lanes.
I really don't know how this could work in that situation. Isn't the ps5 drive one of its best features? I believe it's still much faster than anything else on the market. Supporting this one for games would most likely handicap it.
I bet Sony is testing drives to see which one they were get to work best with their built in drives to keep the speed from suffering. They'll tell us when and if they get one working. The price on the first drive will shoot up. But getting ahead of the curve and buying the wrong things could cost you more.

Main reason why Samsung is placing this on sale. If this was the fastest and without any issues whatsoever, it wouldn't be 315.

Here's a real review site: https://www.anandtech.c
They trade blows on response time, with the 980 Pro being a little better. However the SN850 is better on data transfer rates in both real world benchmarks and your standard benchmarks, sometimes by a little and sometimes by a lot.
The SN850 is a faster drive.

Western Digital was slow to get into the NVMe game and at times it has seemed like they weren't trying very hard to go after the high end. But they're definitely serious contenders now. The high-end consumer SSD market is no longer just Samsung and the runners-up.
Overall the SN850 does have a few performance quirks, but no serious weaknesses to worry about. The SN850 has a bigger and faster SLC cache than most of the competition and generally seems better-optimized for client workloads than the 980 PRO.
Going forward I will only spend my money on a product if it has a desired feature available on the day I depart with my hard earned cash.
This drive is only for a select few. $300+ for 2TB? I'm sitting here SMH thinking about anyone considering this for their PS5.

The WD SN850 2TB is the same price.
