Ah, Micro B will be the death of me. I feel like only Seagates and WDs (all models of which use Micro B right now as far as I know?) are going to end up on Slickdeals prices this good within the time frame I need at least one, so...guess I'll have to pull the trigger rather than pay the premium on a brand with a more secure connector type (that is to say, literally ANY of those others()

No indication when or if those things will happen unfortunately, along with the constraints around shipping goods across the world. I think late q3 is best case, but if I were a betting man I'd take the over.

I hope these hit Black Friday prices 180-190$ by this November and I'll upgrade. Currently running 10x4 and my 30 TB are almost gone. This would yield me 64 TB.
