Productivity is very subjective. Old school .exes, you're better off with Windows, but if you're not living in the 90s, most things run in a browser these days.

I'm going to buy this at Amazon unless it's confirmed that Costco will fix the check-out error. Rep over the Costco chat told me they'll fix it in a few hours but the rep on the phone said it's a price glitch.

Just called nearby Costco warehouse.
They have the MacBook at $1949.99 with instant rebate of $350.
That will make the item $1599.99 but you have to pay taxes on 1949.99...
about $30 difference in New York...

I bought from Costco but waited on the phone for 45 minutes AND had to do some weird things to get the price including waiting for the tax and discount as rebates because of this glitch.
In retrospect, I should have just bought from BestBuy or Amazon and gotten the price cut, the Discover 5%, and the tax discounts all at once.
