Productivity is very subjective. Old school .exes, you're better off with Windows, but if you're not living in the 90s, most things run in a browser these days.

are people that clumsy to want accidental coverage on the laptops (ive never once broke a laptop from accidents in the 20 yrs or so ive worked with them) or are people that unsure of apple quality that they have to have the warranty to cover hardware failure (i've had one windows laptop and one mba go bad on me in the same 20 yrs through tons of different laptops).
get a good deal on open box, only to negate any cost benefit and adding on hundreds on top with this applecare thing and just giving apple your $$ like its nothing, for quite frankly, nothing unless apple product is horrible or if you just are one heck of a clumsy person. in either case, it just doesnt make any sense to me. for the former, you shouldnt be getting an apple perhaps. and for the latter, maybe you should resort to desktops and just keep laptops away from you.
for everything else, no one should ever just waste their money on this applecare crap.
their so called warranty doesnt even cover your accidents fully either and you have to pay for each incident, on TOP of what you already paid for the applecare PLUS tax.
"AppleCare+ purchase date and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage protection every 12 months, each subject to a service fee of $99 for screen damage or external enclosure damage, or $299 for other accidental damage, plus applicable tax."

I could give you the answer, but I'll let you think it over until you come up with it lol

For being so condescending, you could do with a little reading comprehension yourself.
