You do you bro. No need to come in the thread and explain yourself. Nobody buys a mac for gaming.

Productivity is very subjective. Old school .exes, you're better off with Windows, but if you're not living in the 90s, most things run in a browser these days.

Thats what I'm worried as well. If the rewards are not credited before 15 days then we would be out of luck

Had this for 2 weeks. Great little laptop but not a gaming laptop; not even for Starcraft Brood Wars From 1998.

Given that's only on PPC, I'm assuming you mean the SC:Remastered version, which is Intel. I think you should try SC2, as it's a considerably better experience on Apple Silicon, IMHO.

yes, SC RM. Won't be using this for gaming but would be nice to be able to play some games.

Fortunately, you absolutely can. There are M1 games that, of course, play natively (Baldur's Gate 3 being one), but Intel games do play well, depending on the game. You can read Reddit's MacGaming forums for more details on what people are doing (there are lots of solutions), Apple's x86 emulator only being one possible path.

Again, I suggest you try SC2. It's a far better experience to play, and it's a far better experience on AS also.

I don't even see the point of buying a MacBook anymore since Win10/11 is much better for productivity and gaming and Intel/AMD are putting out good numbers with Alder Lake and Ryzen. Hard pass on this-- keeping my old 2010 MBA Core2Duo just to say I have a Mac, and building a Zen 4 gamer next month.
I have a beefy desktop specifically for gaming and work daily with Win10/11, but I use a MacBook Pro for everything else. MacOS is way, way more intuitive and fluid than Windows 11.
