Now when I see an Intel chip actually win in gaming at 125W power envelopes, I'll concede the crown to Intel. But AMD does need to get better at lying...ahem...I mean marketing. Edit. nvm, seems to only have been for a few minutes, was able to snag it. canceling my order of a 5800x I had gotten for $100 less.
I am upgrading from a 1600 I got at launch. The 5800x3d will give the most longetivy to my system. The next component to replace is my GTX1080ti in due time once the 40 series come out.
