Not the same panel.
What did you end up with? I need a new monitor with clear text for work. Is the poor image due to this monitor is it a qhd resolution thing?
The Panel is VA, not IPS like this deal. IPS is so much better than VA
Plenty of features and extras.
Plenty of ports for all connectivity you need and want for a monitor like this.
No issues hitting 144 hz excellent response time.
9/10 from me..

Edit: I'm not super picky on features. My current monitors are 24" 1080p, 60hz, non-gaming monitors from about 10 years ago. Looking for 27" 1440p, 120Hz or higher, great picture quality. I believe all the ones below would be suitable. Just curious if anyone has any input. If so, thanks!

I'm telling you, don't sleep on the Acer. Check out its ratings.

The Acer Nitro XV272U is excellent for gaming. It has incredibly low input lag, a high refresh rate, and exceptional response times, so gaming feels smooth and responsive. It supports FreeSync and is compatible with G-SYNC. Its ergonomics are excellent, which makes it easy to place the screen at a comfortable viewing position. It's not very well-suited for a dark room because it has a low contrast ratio that makes blacks look gray in the dark.
PROS
Large high-resolution screen.
170Hz refresh rate and exceptional response times.
Exceptional response times.
Very low input lag.
VRR support.
CONS
Mediocre contrast ratio.

Their naming convention could use a little work. The model name: XV272U KVbmiiprzx doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. It doesn't help that they have very similarly named models such as: XV272U W2bmiiprx

Not sure if this is the one the other post referred to, but this XV272U Vb is def worth a look over this LG for a next-gen console:
