A 32" 720p screen becomes "retina" at about 75" away. If you are closer than 75" from screen, your eyes could see more detail. Greater than 75" away you cannot.

Thanks for checking, and sharing!
I still use this monitor but I use it vertically split as two monitors. It's comically tall, But I use the top screen for Spotify or YouTube music and I use the bottom one for emails.
For $129 I say go for it. But just don't plan to use it for a 6 hours a day you might deal with I fatigue like I did.
Colors look good and it is plenty bright.
I literally have two 32" monitors in front of me, a 1440p and a 4k, and can easily see the difference. At this size 1080p or lower would be an absolute mess.

People familiar with the Walmart, does that mean this item is not sold at all in those stores?
yes, I had to ask someone to check and retrieve bc it wasn't displayed. I think they may have more though bc no clearance sticker = employees didn't know it was so cheap.
Brickseek said unknown and Walmart site said not available - but I snagged one. It's always a gamble.
Da fuq?!
You must have grab the last 2. I was there at 12 lol
- This 34" is an ultrawide. Meaning, it has a similar pixel per inch (PPI) as a 27" 1440p display. Comparing this 34" to a 32" UHD without considering the aspect ration difference will make you inappropriately assume the 34" will be blurry.
- Comparing them side-by-side, the 32" is sharper.
- Natively, 32" UHD has too high of a PPI in Windows for me. I suspect it would be that way for most others as well.
- With Windows scaling the 32" UHD display 150%, the UI is no longer too "small".
- The 1440p-ish resolution of the 34" ultrawide is the appropriate PPI for Windows. Anything higher, like with the 32" UHD, is more of a luxury.
- Windows scaling causes some annoyances for my workflow. Because of this, I prefer the lower PPI of the ultrawide.
- I don't game on these monitors.
These aren't rules set in stone. Just some honest feedback that I think a lot of people could relate to. Some other use cases, like gaming or content creation, might benefit more from the higher resolution UHD offers. But for my use case, UHD is extra overhead I'd rather not have. One last side note. If you WFH and are looking at monitors for productivity, consider something like a 43" UHD display. With Windows snapping windows to corners, it would legitimately provide the workspace experience of 4 x 21.5" 1080p monitors, arranged in a grid, and without bezels between them. The PPI of a 43" or 47" UHD display would be ideal for the Windows UI without scaling. I'd call it an "efficient" use of desk space and computing resources.
I have this monitor. Sides are not dim.
