Specs on best buy is a mistake.
You can even check it from Asus' official website.
The specs I've mentioned are accurate.

Customer reviews on Best Buy website backs up the specs which are different than eBay. How do know BB's specs are mistake?

300 nits and 45% NTSC is a pretty low quality screen.

Also at 4.14lbs its a chunky boy for not having a dGPU.

The mismatched RAM (8GB soldered, 4GB stick) isnt good either.

Too expensive for what it is.

The rule of thumb is that whenever you downplay or criticize a deal, at least have the decency to post/link a better deal at this price point, i.e., a 16" new clamshell laptop with a powerful processor and expandable RAM.

A 300-nits 45% NTSC is a mediocre display, yes, but it isn't "pretty low quality screen", especially at this price point.

Also, idk what you're smoking, but this is a 16" laptop and 4.14 lbs. is absolutely fine for such a size. You have 16" convertibles that weigh more than this and gaming laptops are usually a whole pound or more heavier.

According to the specs, a maximum of 16 gb of ram can be handled by the laptop
