is it not same model where you can not set crossover frequencies per speaker channel?

Correct this has global crossovers.
You would have to jump up to the new 805 for individual crossovers.

I edited the OP, but wanted to chime in since it's gone FP and I can't alter that. They dropped the prices overnight, the range is now $286.99 (fair) to $355.99 (excellent). Good luck!

Everyone in here finds no value in DLBC so that may not be of value to you.
That's a gross overgeneralization! There are plenty of RZ70 owners in the AVS/ASR threads who have continued to purchase DLBC! I'm in these slickdeal receiver threads just as much as you and so far, I've really been the only one to say that I didn't feel the need to purchase DLBC for my situation!

Who on Slickdeals (aside from me) publicly stated they're not getting DLBC? Who is "EVERYONE"?

FYI: those who are considering this receiver should know that it most likely also exhibits the same low impedance cut-off as the big brother Pioneer 505/Onkyo RZ50/Integra DRX5.4. Respected AVS/ASR member dlaloum owns an Integra DRX3.4 (305 and 7100 clone) and wasn't happy with the sound on his challenging Gallo speakers until he used external Crown amps:
https://www.avsforum.com/posts/61486786/

dlaloum was able to use pre-outs because his Integra has it but the 7100 and the 305 clones don't! Avoid the 305 if you have difficult to drive speakers!

Ok..I have both those brand cables and no issues

I have a Onkyo RZ50 in a secondary room...which I assume has about the same internals

Apple TV 4K, Roku Ultra both running to the TV..LG E7..using ARC and it works fine
Even have an LG 4K player running directly to the RZ50 ( then to the LGE7)and it works fine as well
I had similar issues. Ended up going with BlueJeans cables for an hdmi cable. Not the cheapest but far from the most expensive.

Do you have to pay a subscription fee to use Dirac?

Geez these people and their reading comprehension, AGAIN in plain English "Everyone in here"!
Isn't "here" SD and not AVS/ASR! 🤔

I believe you just made my point about "here"!
Even you "being the one" "didn't feel the need" for it! 🤔

No one in the RZ70/805 threads "in here" mention it as a benefit let alone that they are getting it, they mention everything but DLBC!

Definitely everyone in the RZ50/7100/305/505 threads "in here" state that there is no need/benefit to DLBC!

So if you're the only one and even you don't feel the need, how is that a "gross overgeneralization!"?

For this Pioneer, Dirac Live is included (no subscription fee). However, the escalating tiers of Dirac products that require additional license fees (i.e. Dirac Live Bass Control and ART) won't be possible on this product.

As there are no pre-outs, this is very much an "end of the road" receiver and not possible to upgrade via external amps.

Based on your completely faulty logic, then none of us on Slickdeals want legacy TOSLINK optical connections or digital coax since no one's really asked for it?!!!

You should really consider a career in politics since you like to make "word salads" and a foothold on reality is optional!

That's pretty funny since you proved my "faulty logic" on how no one considers DLBC a benefit in here!
You being the only one and all & you don't need it! Coverlaugh

Speak of "word salads", let's hope you stop with the "faulty logic" of the "usefulness" of DLBM over DL since you have been proven wrong AGAIN!

I'm not gonna hold my breath though, you're like a used car salesman in here(or is it turnne mini me)!

I've ordered three times since this morning and have had it canceled all three times. Nice deal for anyone who was able to grab it.

I extreamly hate these Pioneer junk due to its DTS chip manufactured by TI. I have had a couple and both are gone with the same problem. You will start noticing "ue22 error" on the receiver. For a few days, it sporadically appears and during that time your speakers wont receive any input. Its an error from bad DTS chip and eventually after a few days it will be gone completely. Apart from that junky DTS chip, I have no other bad opinion about this receiver.
