I visited staples in Aliso Viejo and they had an Xbox 1TB Expansion card for $79.96. There's also a promotion in the app where if you spend $75 you get $25 in points. YMMV obliviously

The bigger deal here is that someone visited Staples.

Not available here or at any city within hundreds of miles. Prob something that employees bought as soon as they went on clearance at the few stores that carried them.

Break it open and it's just an SD card or flash drive, right? Probably has garbage r/w speeds, especially since it's USB.

Get a new 2TB SSD and save yourself the headache of a slow game drive with all the slow load times that come with it
Ummm no. It contains a gen4 SSD which is very fast. You must use these to store Series X/S games. Other external SSDs can only store older games.

It's not USB and it has to be a very specific model nvme that they don't sell otherwise.

Got the last one at zip code 23185. Online site was saying none in stock. The guy has to go to the back storage and found only one left.
